Hi there!
I’m a pragmatic, enthusiastic senior experience designer with over 8 years and 23+ projects of professional design experience. I work to advance economic and ecological sustainability through human-centered product & service design.
I’ve designed for various platforms on dozens of projects, working with multidisciplinary teams for both global clients and small startups. Most recently I’ve been designing enterprise applications for energy/financial modeling and renewable energy operations.
I’ve also contributed to the community through various workshops, presentations, and independent projects.

I enjoy thunderstorms and bicycling (but not at the same time). I’m a proud Trekkie. I was a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago, in Spain. I volunteer with nonprofits working on housing and transportation solutions. Thanks to my Eagle Scout training, I can survive for several hours without an internet connection.
Some past employers & clients:
Why you want me on your team—
I build team cohesion, trust, and positive energy. My top Gallup CliftonStrengths themes are Woo, Communication, Connectedness, Positivity, and Developer. I’m known for my project enthusiasm, playful stakeholder engagement, and gathering people to co-work together on remote days. I was voted “Mr. Congeniality” (seriously) by my Fjord peers.
My teammates and junior designers benefit from having me around. I’ve helped scope and plan design projects. I negotiate and co-create timelines and feature sets with product managers and engineering leads. I share design processes and exercises with my junior designers, and contribute to knowledge bases like content standards and design library systems.
I think about both the big-picture and the fine details. I spend just as much time asking about project goals and how we measure success, as I do ensuring that keyboard shortcuts work and terminology is consistent across the system.
